Francesca Chaney - Girls Advocating and Innovating the Nation (G.A.I.N.)

17-year-old Francesca Chaney is the founder of Girls Advocating and Innovating the Nation (G.A.I.N), a non-profit organization whose mission is to build a platform where young women are able to come together and empower each other and advocate for a cause in order to innovate the world around them.
G.A.I.N., which started as a mentoring program, incorporates the arts and creativity into their workshops and is now a global movement. They recently hosted a Tour for Peace in Belize. They also have established the “Quest Awards” which honor youth who make positive strides in their communities through the arts, activism, and cultural contributions.
Francesca has a voice of reason and she represents evolution within our youth and our world. Being a mentor, she is ambitious, inspiring and motivating. She recruits like-minded youth for her organization and her positive goals. She is in college pursuing a degree in Anthropology.
