we decided canada needed some more blogshop love, so we made our way to vancouver last week to teach a new group how to use photoshop for their blogs! take a look inside the class…

i’ve been a maptote fan for years, and they just added some vancouver swag to their roster of awesome products. we used the grocery tote to hold our goodies.

frankie press makes all kinds of cool books and we used this sweet treats cookbook for a prize.

lauren at blue eye brown eye put together these mini calligraphy kits exclusively for our blogshop students, which makes sense because she’s a master at penmanship.

it wouldn’t be a blogshop without our bkrs, and this stop on the tour was no exception. we switched up the color palette a bit this time.

by boe uses vintage materials with gold to make these delicate dart wrap bracelets,

sometimes you gotta pull your hair back and get to designing. we thought some good-looking headbands would be in order. these are by kitsch and can look pretty with an updo or just to hold back flyways for a workout. or go the hippie route like above…

we encourage our students to take notes so they can remember all they’ve learned, sometimes putting pen to paper just cements your memory, you know? and we definitely encourage them to hatch schemes and plans. i love these simple and cheeky notebooks from amelia presents.

we held the class at warehouse studios, and we loved the wood floors, exposed brick walls and steel beams and the lofty windows and ceiling. all + sundry created circle-themed decor for us, with a hanging chandelier, scalloped backdop and lots of bright flowers. i love the giant scales effect the backdrop had. check out our feed from vancouver here for all the fun.

great socks are underrated, so when i heard about stance, i was dying to get some for our blogshoppers. for this class we gave them the pink durango sock but be on the lookout for some more designs in upcoming shops.

and of course the splendid striped pouches for the necessities rounded out our goodie bags this time around. it’s perfect for my passport and foreign cash.

our students were encouraged to help themselves to an afternoon pick-me-up at our sweets table created by the girls at lotus events. with whoopie pies by the bake sale, macarons by kawaii eats and cupcakes by coco cake cupcakes. and how cute are those blogshop cookies?! trove vintage rentals provided vintage vessels for the candy and florals.
