With pastel blooms popping up everywhere and temperatures that are perfect for flirty, but not skimpy, outfits, spring is the perfect time to don a ladylike ensemble. While we love conventionally spring-appropriate florals and sherbet shades, there’s no need to abandon a more modern sensibility when picking out a feminine look. Trendy color schemes (think pops of neon) and chic patterns (like mod black-and-white checks) become instantly ladylike when seen on more traditionally girlish silhouettes, like full skirts, midi dresses, and delicate collared blouses. Whether you’re a ruffles-and-flowers sort of girl or someone who favors a more avant garde style, a ladylike outfit is something anyone can pull off!
